Holiday Songs Gone Wrong – “Deck the Halls”

I work at a pharmacy and started writing these to entertain my co-workers. I am not encouraging major drug use… this is just a way to laugh at the stress of this time of year and have fun with holiday tunes. Enjoy!

Deck the Halls (ode to Zoloft)

Sing it with me to the tune of “Deck the Halls” – here we go!

Deck the halls with pharmaceuticals,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.
Take a pill, don’t eat your cuticles,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.

Numb we now, no care apparent,
Zo zo zo… la la la… la la loft.
Dulls like booze, but less transparent,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.

See the spending spree before us,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.
Credit cards so worn they’re porous,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.

Broke are we, debt beyond measure,
Zo zo zo… la la la… la la loft.
But you’ll think your angst is pleasure,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.

Fast away the season passes,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.
You won’t care how big your ass is,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.

Screw that ho-li-day depression
Zo zo zo… la la la… la la loft.
Forgive yourself without Confession,
Zo zo zo zo zo…la la la loft.
